Fuerte Fine Weddings are Gary, Gail & Paul. We have been blessed to have been a part of over 1000 weddings in the UK and Australia in our roles as award-winning wedding entertainers and Masters of Ceremonies. We have now also trained, and are certified, as Celebrants and Wedding Planners Fuerteventura with The Fellowship of International Celebrants.
We are bringing our years of experience to Fuerteventura and would love to help you create your ultimate personalised celebration experience. We can help with proposals/engagements, weddings, vow renewals, anniversaries and birthdays. In fact, if you have something you want to celebrate, we’re here for you.
How we ended up here, starting a new chapter in our lives, is a long story we will share later. For now, all you need to know is we are passionate about weddings and our philosophy is to make all of our celebrations unique, personal and stress-free.

– WHY A DESTINATION WEDDING IN FUERTEVENTURA? –
As well as helping you find venues and suppliers you might need for your celebration, we can advise you on accommodation, excursions and restaurants. We understand that planning from a distance can be daunting, but we are here for you with expert advice whenever you need it.
The first step is to find out about you, your vision and the memories you want to create. We do this with a complimentary discovery meeting via video conferencing / FaceTime or in-person on the island.
From there we can start to offer you options that fit your brief.
You may want a very small, intimate, elopement style wedding ceremony on the beach with just a couple of guests, a few photos and a meal. Or maybe you’re bringing a large group over and would like a full-on traditional wedding day experience with a ceremony, meal, evening reception and party. Our past experience in the wedding industry will ensure your vision is turned into a reality.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, approximately 2,500 miles due south of Britain. It sits in the Atlantic Ocean, 100km off the west coast of Morocco. It’s south of Lanzarote and east of Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
The climate is very mild with average temperatures ranging from 20°C in the winter to 30°C in the summer, with overnight temperatures about 6° lower. The average rainfall is around 200mm’s per year falling mostly between October and March.

Happy days are back!
Happy days are back – we got to play live. Sunday 20th June saw a fundraiser in Music Square to help people struggling on Fuerteventura.
Gary is not only a great Wedding DJ and MC but a good bloke. Being a Wedding Entertainer myself, there are very few people I would trust with our wedding. Gary was at the top of that list.
His service was well worth the price (and the costs of flights for him to come to Australia).
We wanted a relaxed feel to the day, we wanted our family and friends to enjoy themselves and feel at ease. Everyone who attended our wedding said that’s exactly how they felt, and that’s all thanks to Paul for making this happen!
We have had SO many compliments from all our guests saying it was the best wedding they have ever been too. They loved all the special unique touches Paul added to our day and they just loved Paul as a person!
We had Gary for the whole day at our wedding and we honestly couldn’t have had anyone better! He helped the day’s timeline go extremely smoothly and was a fantastic toastmaster, this was important to us we hired a hall and didn’t have anyone to do this, he made sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. Gary also helped us plan the day’s events and music and took our request’s onboard! Lots of our guest commented on how great Gary was, he certainly is an excellent DJ!
WHY FUERTEVENTURA?
We fell in love with the island a few years ago. It’s chilled out vibe and wonderful microclimate, with all year sunshine, make it the perfect place to escape to. All this and it’s just a four to five hour flight from the UK. There are a wide range of accommodation options with prices for every budget.
CAN I PLAN MY OWN FUERTEVENTURA WEDDING?
You could plan you’re entire wedding celebration in Fuerteventura from the UK… but, what we offer, is our years of expertise in the wedding industry and, as locals on the island, we know the best spots and the best people to make the celebration of your dreams.

CAN I LEGALLY GET MARRIED IN FUERTEVENTURA?
Yes and no. If you’re a resident here then you may be able to, but, if you are just flying over, as 95% of our couples, then to incorporate your wedding with a holiday, there’s another option… Do the legal bit in the UK – it can be just the two of you with two witnesses, it takes about 10 minutes and it only costs a few quid at your local registry office. Then you have your ceremony, with whoever you want, wherever you want here.
Think of it like a birth or a death – you register it and then have a separate ceremony (naming, christening, funeral, wake). As well as your legal document we’ll present you with a special certificate as a lasting momento of your ceremony.
WHEN'S THE BEST TIME TO GET MARRIED IN FUERTEVENTURA?
It’s beautiful here all year round. However, you may want to avoid the busiest times to reduce the cost of your flights. Maybe it’s all about escaping the British winter for you, in which case Fuerteventura is well worth a look. Even in the height of summer the temperatures aren’t too high.

Then, on your wedding day, Gary or Paul will be there to make sure you can relax and enjoy every precious moment. We promise to be totally focused, fresh and ready to give your celebration the attention to detail and love it deserves.
We have never missed a wedding, but if something gets in the way, and neither of us can make it, we’ll refund you and find the best replacement we can – and we’ll pay for them!
At the end of your wedding, if you feel you’ve had less than you’ve paid for from us, you can tell us what size of the refund you should receive, right up to your full fee.
